  From Wednesday, July 29th to Sunday, August 2nd, the Takoma Park Youth Department had one of the BEST SUMMER TRIPS EVER! We drove 8+ hours down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for 5 days with 21 teens and 7 adults.  Here are the reasons that truly made this Summer Trip EPIC!!! FELLOWSHIP AND DEVOTIONAL TIME – Driving down the East Coast and all over South Carolina for over 1000 miles, we definitely got to know each other better! 2014 HAS BEEN A YEAR OF GROWTH AND CHANGE. We have a new Senior Pastor to join the able staff already in place. We have seen our average Sabbath attendance between the two worship services double. We have seen our budget for our 2014 budget year go from a deficit of almost 14k to a positive of over 10k, and our tithe gain for 2014 will exceed 100,000k.
