TP CommunicationsFamily Life, Family Spotlight

Kisha and Craig Samuel married in 2014 and are blessed to have joined our families of five amazing children. Craig is a native of St. Johns, Antigua who relocated to New York in the ’90s and ultimately to Maryland. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Cybersecurity at UMBC and is an AWS and Cybersecurity Consultant delivering solutions to commercial and federal clients.

Kisha was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. During her adult life, she visited many Christian churches but could not acquire a true understanding of Christ’s teachings. As Craig shared his Christian knowledge and experiences, she became curious about the Adventist teachings. Soon after relocating to Maryland, Kisha was inspired and called to become baptized at TPC this past April. For over 20 years she has applied her Information System degree to enable Digital Transformation in the Healthcare industry.

Their children, Keona, Kyla, Kathryn, Kaylee, and Dylan range in ages of 28 through 15 years old. Keona the eldest is a Senior Recruiter with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion in New York. She holds a Masters of Public Administration from Baruch College and mentors high school students to help prepare them for success. She enjoys traveling and absorbing world cultures.

Kyla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Farmingdale State University and has an extensive freelance portfolio creating marketing brands for various small businesses. She enjoys music in all its forms and loves going to live concerts.

Kathy is a senior at Ohio State University and in 2 weeks, will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology. She is a member of Metro SDA, enjoys hanging with “The Skwad”, singing in the DMV Youth Gospel Choir and meeting new people.

Kaylee will be graduating next May from Long Reach High School in Columbia, MD. She is currently stressed with college applications, planning her pursuit of a medical career in the field of Neuroscience. She is a member of Metro SDA, enjoys singing in the DMV Youth Gospel Choir and hanging with “The Skwad”.

Dylan is a junior at Long Reach High School in Columbia, MD and is also a member of Metro SDA and the DMV Youth Gospel Choir. He enjoys basketball, online gaming and hanging with “The Skwad”. He plans to pursue a career in Information Technology, Game Development or Audio/Visual Production.
