Story
120 YEARS SPREADING THE GOSPEL
The Takoma Park Church has a long history, starting with meetings at Takoma Hall in 1904 and moving to rented accommodations at Union Chapel in 1907. The congregation expanded to a dedicated building in 1913 and the current structure in 1951. The church launched the Church Center in 1977 and commemorated its 100th anniversary in 2004 with the establishment of the Heritage Room. It remains committed to spreading the Gospel and serves as a cornerstone of the community.
TPC Church Center
The Takoma Park Church Center was constructed in 1977 directly across the street from the church building. It is located at 6810 Eastern Avenue NW, Washington DC, 20012. This building houses many important rooms including offices for the pastoral staff, Sabbath school rooms, and two fellowship halls with an accompanying kitchen and kitchenette. The church parking lot is conveniently located behind the Church Center building.
